FORT COLLINS, CO – The Center for Fine Art Photography is very pleased to present Natural World, an exhibition of fifty-one national and international photographers examining nature in states both subatomic and cosmic. The resulting images run the gamut from the raw to the delicate. Natural World is on display from December 3 – December 31, 2010.
An opening artist reception will be held on Friday, December 3 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Juror Susan Spiritus, director of Susan Spiritus Gallery in Newport Beach writes:
“those two words (subatomic and cosmic) resonated with me once I began to look at the works which were submitted. I knew that I wanted to see natural world beauty of a different kind – other than the beauty from the traditional landscape and the magnificent flora that we see everyday.”
Spiritus will illuminate her Natural World selections as well as the life and times of a gallery maven when she joins us at the Center on Saturday, December 4 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM for a public gallery talk. Admission is free but do let us know you’d like to drop by – RSVP to contact@c4fap.org. This gallery talk is made possible by a grant from The City of Fort Collins, Fort Fund Grant.
